these fibers were dyed with modern acid dyes in colors that are representative of the historical dyes, no actual poisons were used.

Mummy Brown;
50% Merino, 25% Tussah Silk, 25% Flax

Cinnabar Red;
50% Baby Camel, 50% Tussah Silk

Uranium Orange;
50% Superwash Merino, 50% Bombyx Silk

Antimony Yellow;
65% Superwash Merino, 35% Rose Fiber

Arsenic Green;
70% Blue Faced Leicester Wool, 30% Seacell Fiber

Cyanide Blue;
60% Superwash Merino, 20% Yak, 20% Bombyx Silk

Manganese Violet;
80% Superwash merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon

Lead White;
75% Superwash merino, 20% Nylon, 5% Stellina

due to the dye process each batch is slightly different, even skeins from the same batch are different.

These fibers were hand dyed using professional acid dyes, heat set and rinsed well, however some residual dye may come out in the first washing.

Hand Wash in cold water with like colors.

I try to get the color in the pictures as accurate as possible, however keep in mind different monitor settings may make the color look different.
